subversion RH9

1.To Install SVN in RH9 you need the following RPMS:
apr-0.9.5-0.2.i386.rpm
apr-util-0.9.5-0.1.i386.rpm
neon-0.24.7-1.i386.rpm
subversion-1.2.0-1.rh90.i386.rpm
subversion-server-1.2.0-1.rh90.i386.rpm
2.Identify the machine and create the directory where the repository to be stored.
3.Issue the following command:
svnadmin create –fs-type fsfs
4.Create the user svn with the home directory as the parent directory of

which consists of three files and give the permissions as shown below.

6.Add cvs users in passwd file.
7.Change some values in the file svnserve.conf as shown below.
anon-access = none
auth-access = write
password-db = passwd
realm = (String that identifies the repository)
8.Add the following lines to /etc/services.
svn 3690/tcp # Subversion Server
svn 3690/udp # Subversion Server
